On 7 March 2023, Euro Chlor will hold its first ‘Hydrogen Day’ at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Brussels. This face-to-face event aims to bring together representatives from the chlor-alkali industry (members, partners and potential partners), hydrogen technology vendors, policy makers and EU institutions to discuss and kick-start the hydrogen economy.
Highlights of the day:
• Multi-megawatt fuel cells for flexible power generations
• Utilising 100% hydrogen to create zero-emission steam
• Ultra-low NOx hydrogen combustion in industrial utilities
• Development of Power Purchasing Agreements (PPA) as a sourcing strategy
• Moving from necessary to trusted end-to-end certification
• Panel session on the opportunities and challenges for hydrogen towards climate neutrality with representatives from chlor-alkali industry, renewable sector, infrastructure and Ruud Kempener from DG ENER.
• Poster sessions on the latest technology developments within the hydrogen universe
